2012 Annual Dinner

The Cedars

The Interfaith Partnership/Faith Beyond Walls Annual Dinner will be held Thursday, October 18, 2012, at The Cedars at St. Raymond’s Maronite Cathedral.

The annual dinner is traditionally our biggest event of the year, where we gather as persons of faith to celebrate our interfaith endeavors, break bread as a community, and raise funds for the continuation of our shared interfaith mission.

We hope you will put October 18 on your calendar and plan to join us for a meal and special presentation.

We will honor Batya Abramson-Goldstein, Executive Director of the Jewish Community Relations Council, for her outstanding service to the interfaith community of St. Louis. Please join us as we express our thanks for her service over the course of her career, and most especially over the last year.

This year’s celebration will feature a new kind of program.

Television personality and Cardinal Glennon Foundation Director Dan Buck will serve as our emcee for the evening as we showcase a variety of ways that faith-based initiatives are serving the wider population of St. Louis, including:

Karen Solomon Young Adult Service Initiative, co-sponsored by the Jewish Community Relations Council, NextDor STL and the Jewish Community Center of St. Louis

Salaam Free Clinic, Muslim physicians serving the wider community at Lane Tabernacle CME Church

Jamison Memorial Human Resource and Development Agency, partnered with Jamison Memorial CME Church and area churches across denominational lines

St. Patrick Center, in solidarity with the Catholic Church’s teaching

Lydia’s House, an  official ministry of the United Church of Christ’s Council for Health and Human Services Ministries, with support from many local faith communities

More information will be added as the event is planned. Thank you for your patience!
