Leslie Heberlie, Co-Executive Director

Leslie Heberlie has been with Interfaith Partnership since January 2012. Leslie takes care of our website and newsletter, supports events both big and small, and works closely with our board, Cabinet, members, and volunteers. Leslie serves on the steering committee of Arts & Faith, which produces the September 11th Commemoration Concert, as well as the board of the Living Insights Center.

After earning a degree in International & Area Studies from Washington University in St. Louis, Leslie served for four years with the United Church of Christ, first in a local congregation and then with the Missouri Mid-South Conference as Director of Communications. She is a graduate of the Leadership for Social Change JUST Lead program for emerging social justice leaders. She and her family live in University City.

Rev. Dr. David Mehl, Co-Executive Director

David Mehl joined the IP staff in April 2013. David brings 35 years of experience as an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ. He has served congregations in the St. Louis area as well as in New England. He brings expertise in leadership creation and development, in teaching and speaking, in program and fund-raising initiatives, support and follow-through. He has been enthusiastically involved in numerous interfaith activities in St. Louis for over 20 years.

David holds a bachelor’s degree from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, a master’s of divinity degree from Andover Newton Theological School in Boston, Massachusetts, and a doctor of ministry degree from Eden Seminary in Webster Groves. He is married, has four children and lives in Kirkwood.
