Location: Our office is located at Eden Theological Seminary in Webster Groves, Missouri. Please call beforehand if you intend to come by the office to ensure that someone is in. We are in Schultz Hall Suite 107. Parking for campus visitors is located near our building.

I particpate in one of the IFP dialogue groups and would like to know if IFP board is sending a letter/message of support to the Wisconsin Muslim community and Sikh Temple, as well as to the Muslim community in Joplin? Or if another response has been made to the recent attacks on the Muslim community? Thanks for your response.

2013 Will Be an Incredible Year for Interfaith Activities
A belated “Happy New Year” to you and your interfaith organization. May 2013 be a year of increased peace and understanding within the human family.
We who participate in interfaith dialogue know the keys to a brighter future for humanity to include mutual respect, understanding, and encouragement by persons of religious faith. We know this not on some theoretical level, but by experience. We have all experienced how dialogue and encounter with persons of other faith traditions strengthens our own faith.
2013 will present several amazing opportunities for interfaith participants in the Midwest. His Holiness, the Dalai Lama, will be speaking in Louisville, KY, on May 19-22. Louisville, KY, is a perfect location for His Holiness’s address, as the city has recently become a “City of Compassion” and been honored as Lonely Planet’s “Top U.S. Destination in 2013.”
His Holiness’s presence in Louisville on May 19-22 will be a tremendous “shot in the arm” for interfaith efforts across the Midwest region. This is where members of your group come into play. We are strongly encouraging members of interfaith groups all over the Midwest to become involved in the Louisville event in various ways.
1) Send representatives to hear the addresses by His Holiness, the Dalai Lama, on May 19-22. The 1:30 pm address on May 19th will be specifically focused on the importance of interfaith efforts. We have 25 tickets reserved for interfaith leaders of the Midwest region. Each ticket is $20. Please let me know by return email if you would like up to four of these tickets. If more than four members of your group plan to attend, please buy additional tickets at http://www.dalailamalouisville.org. Please know that the ticket sales are far ahead of expectations. Ordering early is recommended.
2) Participate in special networking events for interfaith participants in conjunction with the Dalai Lama’s May event in Louisville.
3) Learn how interfaith participants can promote the “City of Compassion” opportunity in our local communities.
